Ravenswood Real Estate
Ravenswood home buyers appreciate this community on Chicago's north side for its beautiful tree-lined streets, parks, variety of housing styles, and more relaxed pace (including housing prices).
Ravenswood is one of Chicago’s oldest planned communities. Ravenswood is located far enough away from the bustle of the city to be considered calm and quiet, though it is close to the more active areas of Chicago. Families with children as well as the younger crowds are drawn to Ravenswood.
The CTA Brown Line (the Ravenswood Line) has several stops here. Real estate offers single-family homes, multi-family units and condominiums at prices less expensive than nearby Lakeview, Roscoe Village, and Lincoln Park. Styles include Victorian, Prairie, and brick row style houses. Condos price in the lower six figures while new construction homes and wider lot homes sell for more than $1,000,000.

The reality is that Ravenswood and Lincoln Square are one and the same, bounded on the south by Montrose Avenue and on the north by Foster Avenue. Historically it ended at Western Avenue. From the Chicago River to Sacramento Avenue between Montrose and Lawrence is historic Ravenswood Manor, (technically part of Albany Park). |
